(Piper betle L.) In english it is called Betel leaf Pepper.
Folkloric uses: Used dried material or fresh material in decoction for; Rheumatic bone pains, gastric pains due to exposure to wind, indigestion, bronchial asthma; Applied as a poultice (dikdik-tapal)on the stomach of infants for colic and for skin inflammation; Others used it as "apog" (lime) dubbed a small amounts and wrapped arounda betel nut chewed as "nga-nga" or "ma-ma" to make teeth stronger with a reddish color.
